Appointment of members to the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council

The Lord Chancellor, Jack Straw, has appointed two new members and re-appointed one further member to the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council (AJTC) with the agreement of the Scottish and Welsh Ministers.
New members, Professor Alice Brown and Mrs Jodi Berg, have been appointed for a period of four years from 1 December 2008. Dr Adrian V Stokes OBE has been re-appointed from 1 November 2008 for a period of three years.
These appointments were made in accordance with the Commissioner for Public Appointments Code of Practice.
